Psalm 121 is a prayer of confidence and trust in the providence and protection of God. The translation of the entire Bible into Lamnso’ (language spoken by the Nso’ people – N.W. Cameroon) did so much good. Beautiful Psalms such as this can now be performed in the local language, using local genre. It is something that anyone from there would simply relate to, as well as those who love folk music.

There is a recitation of the same psalm at the end of the song in the English Language. This wan, a non-speaker of Lamnso’ will not be feeling completely left out.
