I first heard this song performed on 30 December 2014. It was in Njinikom, Cameroon, at the the 50th anniversary of the death of the father of Mgr George Nkuo. I had my digital voice recorder on, and it picked the audio while I enjoyed the graceful dance steps that characterize the slow Njang moves of the Kom people.

Fast-forward to 2021 when the same Bishop was celebrating the 40th anniversary of his priestly ordination. I was preparing a video to upload on our YouTube channel, and needed some instrumental to accompany the first part of the video. Boom! I remembered this. So I dug up my audio archives, listened to it over and over, and tried recreating this instrumental to use. It worked!

The actual song is a devotional song to Mary, which draws allusions from the Scriptures. I wish I could actually learn it.
